DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE THERAPY

We offer deep tissue massage that targets the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. The massage therapist uses slower strokes or friction techniques across the grain of the muscle. With deep breaths and relaxation methods, the therapist can work even deeper and smoother into the muscles. We combine several forms of heat....using hot packs, hot stones and a heated table to aid in the deeper level of relaxation to be able to get deeper into the muscles.

Deep tissue massage can be used for chronically tight or painful muscles, repetitive strain, postural problems, or recovery from injury. It is particularly important to drink plenty of water after deep tissue massage. And, soreness for a couple days after the treatment is common.
